LiveWorkPlay: Making A Contribution
So, you like what LiveWorkPlay is doing, and you want to help out. But how?
Since you are here, there is no sense in being shy about it. If you have money to give, LiveWorkPlay wants to accept it. Your money will go to supporting effective hands-on initiatives that support people with intelletual disabilities to develop as self-advocates and contributing members of their community.
The easiest and most efficient way to make a contribution is through a secure online payment. Thanks to CanadaHelps, LiveWorkPlay now accepts online donations, and 100% of the contribution (except for the normaly transaction fee to the credit card company) comes directly to LWP. There is no administrative charge. Click here to make an online donation now!
Of course, a personal cheque is just fine too. Make it out to "LWP" and send it to 153 Chapel Street, Suite 300, Ottawa ON, K1N 1H5. Cash donations are accepted in person. Please call Keenan Wellar at 235-9550 x 223 or email keenan@liveworkplay.ca to arrange to drop it off. All donations of $10 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Another way to contribute is through the annual United Way campaign. You can designate LiveWorkPlay to receive all or part of your contribution.
There are still other ways to make a contribution. This could include donations of stocks or property, bequests in honour of a loved one, and more. Contact Keenan Wellar if you would like to discuss your ideas for a unique donation.
