Celebrating A Second Work Anniversary: Gillian and Outaouais Moving!

LiveWorkPlay helps some 100 people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism to find a job every year, but that doesn’t mean we don’t take a moment to celebrate ongoing employment relationships!

That’s just what went on last week at Outaouais Moving, when Gillian Gillespie was surprised by recognition of her second year work anniversary (pictured above). A hard worker who is also very dedicated, neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow keeps Gillian from making the trek from her home in Ottawa to her workplace in Gatineau.

The company has 50 employees, and most of them have been with the company for 15 years or more, and with good reason! Kym Leroux, Michael Kolberg, and the rest of their leadership team work hard to ensure a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
