Support Your Local Amazing People Finalists!

The Amazing People Gala recognizes local people and organizations who are making a difference here in Ottawa and around the world. Gala proceeds support the SchoolBOX program and also the Hera Mission of Canada.

The LiveWorkPlay 20th Anniversary Committee of Cooper Gage, Ian Murphy, Warren Murphy, and Jennifer Harris nominated Keenan Wellar and Julie Kingstone for Amazing People recognition on behalf of LiveWorkPlay, and following a successful nomination and story aired on CTV Ottawa, they are now one of thirty-six finalists who will be recognized on October 24!

The selection is done by the public and you can now vote for the finalist of your choice. The location of the finalists on the web page is randomized, so if you want to vote for Julie and Keenan, they will be in any one of 36 locations locations on the page. Just scroll down until you see their names or photo. Click on the button next to their names and then click “Submit” at the bottom right.

“It’s an honour to be included in this truly amazing list of individuals and groups, and we’ve had the privilege to partner with many of them over the past 20 years” says Julie. “I am sure this will be an evening to remember, and help make this 20th anniversary year one that we’ll never forget!”

The countdown is on with just ten days left in the voting.
