Celebrating A Successful Employment Partnership

With financial support from a Community Foundation of Ottawa New Leaf Community Challenge grant, LiveWorkPlay is sharing stories about successful employment relationships. In partnership with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Tara Pahwa’s ongoing employment with ISED is being celebrated with an article in the Ottawa Business Journal. In addition to new marketing materials that will be in use by November, LiveWorkPlay is also working with ISED and other employment partners to tell more stories of successful matches, and this will include video features.

ISED received the LiveWorkPlay “Leadership in Employment Diversity Award” at Make A Buzz Ottawa in May. The department has also been a champion with other government departments and agencies, and the work that LiveWorkPlay has done with some of these partners was mentioned in theĀ Twenty-Fourth Annual Report to the Prime Minister on the Public Service.

Of course, LiveWorkPlay has partnerships with employers in all sectors of the community, and you can learn more on our employment page. If you are a job seeker, you can contact Anna Nelson. If you are a potential employment partner, you can contact Jen Soucy.
