Media Coverage

Building inclusive communities is not a simple matter of working with individuals who have disabilities and their families. The rest of the world must also learn what they must do as individuals, organizations, and governments to respect people with intellectual disabilities and their rights in support of a more inclusive community. The media is a critical conduit for sharing this information and helping to communicate the issues.

The list below represents a selection of LiveWorkPlay media coverage in reverse chronological order. You may also wish to visit our YouTube Channel LiveWorkPlay.tv which features most LiveWorkPlay radio and television coverage. To involve yourself in the most active LiveWorkPlay online communities check us out on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @LiveWorkPlay, a great way to keep in touch with regular updates of happenings big and small!

Note: you will see many references to Keenan Wellar in the links below, that is consistent with his role as co-leader and media spokesperson for the organization. Co-leader Julie Kingstone also speaks to the media under certain circumstances, as do other members of staff, board members, members (individuals supported by LiveWorkPlay), and family members.
